“My favorite things about Jason all come from his passion. He is the most principled person I know. He works hard to live his values, to actually ‘walk the walk’, even when it’s difficult. He is a thoughtful person who believes what he believes after much deliberation, never just taking things at face value. This makes him a really good man. Which could be boring, but he tempers all that with so much joy and silliness! He loves music and will do anything to keep it in his life. He played piano for years with a cover band made up of work colleagues. And he sings in a glee club, with guys that have become family to him. He is great at maintaining friendships, constantly getting together with people from as far back as college.

In the realm of work, Jason has had an incredible journey. He started out as a child actor, his career culminating in a regular role on a TV show. He started a professional theatre out west, worked in software development for many years, and then went back to school to pursue a degree in public policy. This because he didn’t feel like he was accomplishing enough good in the world. Now he works for NY state, where he is actively working to save our climate. And he’s good at it, largely because he’s so very passionate about it.

There is no artifice to Jason. He is one hundred percent who he is with everyone he comes in contact with. And he is an unbelievable father. He is patient, gentle, silly, all the things you hope for. He loves Keaton with his whole being and it shows. He is really good at teaching him new things and giving him the space to develop his independence.”
