We Are Looking to Adopt! - Nicola, Jonathan, & Sebastian

Nicola is an only child (who would have loved a sibling!). She grew up mostly in Europe with her parents. Although her immediate family is small, she has a huge and very social extended family, both in the United States and in the England, and we gather with them frequently for holidays. We also spend lots of time with Nicola’s mother who was an actress and now teaches voice and speech at a college.

Jonathan grew up in San Francisco, in the house his parents (“Nana” and “Bompa”) still live in. He has a younger sister, Elizabeth (“Ibbie”), also in San Francisco, and an older brother (“Uncle Stevie”) in Washington, DC, who is the proud father of one-year old cousin Evan. Sebastian is delighted by baby Evan! Stephen and his wife Carolyn are journalists and avid cyclists who gave Sebastian his first bike. Elizabeth is a counsellor who works with young people and Sebastian has lots of fun with her when she visits. These doting grandparents and aunts and uncles all come to spend Christmas with us and a good stretch of time every summer.
